1996 Treasure Hunt Jaguar XJ220

The Jaguar XJ220 is 4/12 in the 1996 Treasure Hunt series, car 15077, and collector number 431.

It is Metalflake green complemented by a gold Hot Wheels logo on the rear window.

Features include a black interior, tinted windows, and a black plastic Malaysia base. The car rides on Pro-Circuit 6-Spoke wheels with gold rims.

The Jaguar XJ220 made its Hot Wheels debut in the 1993 mainline series. It is based on the two-seat sports car that was produced by Jaguar from 1992 until 1994.

The XJ220 was the fastest production car at the time with a recorded top speed of 212.3 miles per hour.

1996 includes 12 vehicles with each limited to 25,000 produced. They can be identified by a horizontal green stripe with “TREA$URE HUNT SERIES” on the package.
